Marlene Ann Flaherty's Obituary
Marlene Ann Flaherty, 84, died peacefully in her sleep on October 11, 2017.
Marlene was born April 15, 1933, in Cleveland, Ohio, the youngest of five children, to John and Magdalene Dolvig. Marlene was proceeded in death by her parents and siblings (Madaline Hillson, Frances Pfaller, Eva Efferth and John Dolvig)
She was a graduate of North Olmsted High School. Prior to retirement, Marlene worked as a bookkeeper for such companies as Modern Tool and Die (MTD) and Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA). Marlene had a love of music and knitting.
She is survived by her three daughters, Deborah Flaherty, Sharon DeTillio (Joseph) and Jo Ann Chapman (Mark Fuldauer); four grandchildren Andrew Lenthe (Maria Santora), Kathryn, Shaun and Margaret Chapman, and many nieces and nephews.
Private family graveside service will be held at Sunset Memorial Park.
The family suggests contributions to Bella Hospice in Independence, Ohio or Avon Oaks Nursing Home in Avon.
