Martin Andrew Drespling's Obituary
Martin Andrew Drespling, 78, of Olmsted Township, passed away peacefully at home with his family on December 15, 2020. Born in Cleveland to the late Martin and Ethel Drespling on August 25, 1942. Martin is survived by his wife of 50 years, Lucille; children David (Carri) Drespling, Daniel (Elizabeth) Drespling, and Debbie Rinehart; grandchildren Elizabeth, Matthew, Stephanie, and Max; great-grandchildren Sadie, Harmony, and Stella; siblings Marvin (Joan) Drespling, Bob (Diane) Drespling, and Margaret (the late Chuck) Ruebensaal; and many other family and friends.
Martin enjoyed racing at the local drag strips with his brothers, tinkering in his garage, cooking, playing bingo, and long car rides. Martin loved to spend time with his growing family and loved to watch them grow up.
In the days to come, he will be dearly missed.
A committal service will be held at Sunset Memorial Park on Monday, December 21, 2020 at 12 noon. Friends and family who wish to attend are asked to meet at the Sunset Chapel located 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, Ohio 44070 at 11:45AM to prepare for the procession.
