Mary Ann Vigliucci's Obituary
Mary Ann Vigliucci (nee Scolaro), age 82 of Pepper Pike, passed away August 27, 2020. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony; the loving mother of Lisa Smith and Angelo (Carmela); the cherished grandmother of Lauren, the late Maria, Christine, Shannon (Dave), Anthony (Jessica) and Kortney; the great-grandmother of Aubriana, Luke, Dominic and Cole; the dear sister of Carole (Ronald) Onorato; sister-in-law of Frank (Linda) Vigliucci and the late Rosemarie (the late Patrick) Vigliotti; adored aunt and friend of many.
Mary Ann was an artist who put her passion on hold when she met and married the love of her life at the age of 19. As a young mother, she expressed herself through the planning of family gatherings, culinary creations, and making her home an art gallery.
Once her kids were grown, she became an entrepreneur and started a business with her sister. Using her artistic instincts in the creation of flower accessories, their work gained notoriety and was featured in local publications. Her work evolved over the years to include stained glass, broken china mosaics, and creating abstract designs from everyday materials.
She crafted many beautiful works of art, but her greatest work of all was her family.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 30, 2020 from 3-7 PM in the Westwood Abbey Mausoleum in Sunset Memorial Park, 6265 Columbia Rd. North Olmsted; where the Funeral Service will take place on Monday at 12 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, PO Box 72101 Cleveland OH 44192 or online at hospicewr.org/tribute.
