Mary G. Young Deranek(née Vinci), passed away November 2, 2020.
Beloved wife of the late Daniel Deranek, formerly married to Edward Young. Devoted mother of Alan (Donna) Young and Gregory(Nicolette) Young; dear grandmother of Bret (Catherine) Young, Corinne (Jacob) Corbin, and Bart (fiancé Hope) Young; great grandmother of Gianna Corbin and Haley Young.
Cherished sister of Victor (the late Arlene) Vinci, Angelo (the late Helen) Vinci, Betty Ann Williams, Margaret (Gerald) Taylor, and the late Felicia (the late Robert) Munday, the late William (the late Jay) Vinci, the late Josephine (the late Nunzio) Pompignano, the late Charles (the late Edna) Vinci, the late Reynard (the late Dee) Vinci. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Mary was the oldest of eleven siblings and helped raise them. She lived life to the fullest and saw much of the world in her travels. Mary’s talents were many, being an extremely accomplished roller skater and ballroom dancer. She had a passionate love for nature, enjoyed blooming trees and flowers and birds chirping. She had a bright and energetic personality and brought laughter and smiles to every room.
The family would like to thank Renaissance of Richfield/Bath and Kindred Hospice for all their loving care.
Due to the pandemic, the family has requested that the service includes immediate family and relatives only. Visitation is 12-2p.m., Monday, November 9, 2020 at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, where funeral services will commence at 2 p.m. Interment at Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted.
