I will miss Aunt Mary she was always there for me as kid. Next door neighbor I could come knock on the door and we sit on the porch or pet we her fluffy white cat, I was real little we play badminton 🏸 with Uncle Glenny as well . Aunt Mary used to braid my hair has a kid and teenager lol we had good conversations we still had conversations up till the end .. I cry on everything I see bring memories of her . But I'm glad she was in my life and what she did for my kids and my Granddaughters as well I was so appreciative of her thoughtfulness. Kindness. There was no one like her . Some people come into our lives and quickly leave. Others stay for a while, leave footprints on our hearts and we are never the same. (Flavia). Mary’s footprints will always be on my heart.

The story goes that Mary and my mother, Nadene, became friends in the fourth grade. Mary ‘s version was that my mom, with the cutest little braids that “looked just like Heidi” shyly approached Mary and asked “will you be my friend?” Friends they remained, through various ups and downs, for over seventy years. So Mary was always a presence in my life. She gave the best Christmas presents! Which included things that were a little too messy that my mom wouldn’t buy, like watercolour paints. As a very young child, I looked forward every year to Halloween, when I would go trick or treating with Glenn and Mary’s stepchildren. More recently, when my husband and I visit Ohio, a highlight of our trip was often Mary and Glenn inviting us and my parents to their home. Mary was an excellent hostess and these gatherings were always appreciated.
