Mary E. Hill's Obituary
Mary E. Hill, 91, of North Ridgeville, formerly of North Olmsted, passed on November 23rd. Mary was born in Sutherland, TN on July 29, 1928 to the late Robert W. and Gay V. (Neely) Blevins. She married A.J. Hill Sr. in June of 1945. Mary was an avid Salt & Pepper set collector with over 12,000 sets. In the late 1950’s she and A.J. Sr. helped found the Brook Park Community Church of the Brethren in which she was still an active member.
Mary & A.J. Sr. had three children, Patricia (deceased), A.J. Jr. (Peggy), Nancy (George) Lentz. She has six grandchildren who she adored Michael (Maria) Lentz, Jennifer (Ben) Barton, Dr. Andrew (Dawn) Hill, Adam (Jeannie) Hill, Brian (Jennifer) Lentz, Jessica Mary Elizabeth Hill, three loving grand-dogs Cody, Ginger & Cali who showered her with kisses and 16 great-grandchildren who she cherished, Emma, Noah & Jonah Lentz, McKenzie & Kylie Hoppe, Christian & Jordyn Barton, Livia & Ajay Hill, Isabella, Gabrielle & Anthony Hill, Mason, Elijah, Peyton & Xavier Lentz. Four sisters, Margaret Phillips, Frances Smith, Hazel Hutchinson, & Dorothy Ritchie (deceased), brother James (Dee) Blevins. Sister-in-laws, Azona Blevins, Ann Manning, brother-in-laws Joe (Cathy) Hill, Herbert (Jackie) Ritchie, and Jim Watkins. Many beloved nieces and nephews. Mary believed that THE LOVE OF A FAMILY IS LIFE’S GREATEST GIFT.
VISITATION Tuesday, November 26, 2019 from 10am until time of her Celebration of Life Service at 12 noon in the Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 6245 Columbia Rd. North Olmsted. Burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
