I have many fond memories of Aunt Esther and Uncle Anthony. My father, sister and I stayed with the family in the fall of 1969 for several months as we were relocating from San Francisco to Cleveland. The entire family was so welcoming and supportive during our transition. While we returned to San Francisco, I never forgot that period of my life. Years later when I worked for KeyBank, my wife Ann and I relocated with our children to Cleveland and lived in Rocky River. Once again, Aunt Esther was so giving of herself. She frequently called Ann to check-in on the family. She was my son Peter’s sponsor for Confirmation.
I remember the cruise with the LaGuardia and McQuaid families which was filled with laughter.
I am grateful to the entire LaGuardia family for their impact on the McQuaid family.
I know Esther, Anthony and Theresa are not only together but are still with us in our daily life and are helping to guide us everyday.
