Mary Jane Pierman's Obituary
Mary Jane was born in Cleveland, Ohio and grew up in Westlake, Ohio. She was born June 14, 1943. She was the daughter of Robert and Doris Kinzel, both deceased. Mary Jane graduated from Westlake High in 1961. She continued her education with an Associate of Arts from community college and Central Practical Nursing School. She worked at Kaiser Healthcare in Parma as an L.P.N. for 30 years, retiring in 2009. After living in San Francisco for a few years, she traveled Europe, Northern Africa, Israel, Turkey, Greece, Norway, Ireland, Scotland, England, China, Australia, and New Zealand using only youth hostels and a knapsack. Mary Jane enjoyed several hobbies that included reading, gardening, swimming, and traveling the world. Her husband, John, died in 2012 after 37 years of marriage. She is survived by her daughter Juliann Eye (Kevin). Very proud grandmother of Ashton John Eye. Dear sister of Robert “Red” Kinzel (Dotte Kayser). She is preceded in death by her brothers Kenneth Kinzel (Naomi), Dale Kinzel (Dale Barbara), and sister Janice Hoenscheidt (Jim). Aunt of many wonderful nieces and nephews. Mary Jane went home to be with the Lord Sunday, October 27, 2019. Visitation will be from 4-7 PM on Wednesday, October 30th at Busch Funeral Home, Parma. A funeral service will be held Thursday, October 31st at 11 AM located at Royal Redeemer Lutheran Church, 11680 Royalton Road, North Royalton, OH. Interment at SUNSET MEMORIAL PARK, North Olmsted on Thursday, October 31st at 12:30 PM.
