Mary Jo Taylor's Obituary
Mary Jo Taylor (nee Womack), 93, of North Olmsted, passed away February 16, 2015.
Beloved wife of the late Robert E. Taylor; dear mother of Curt, Lynn, and Scott; cherished grandmother of Kimberly Diab and Jennifer McElrath and great-grandmother of Alec Brown, Sumer Diab, Sarah McElrath and Allison Taylor McElrath; loving sister of Sheila and Bruce Womack, and the late William Gilliam, Alice Kay, and Joyce Patton Womack; beloved aunt and dear friend of many.
Known to many for an exceptional real estate career, she was the Ohio Board of Realtors “Realtor of the Year” several times, and had a unique parking place marker at her Bay Village real estate office labeled “Salesperson of the Century.” An avid book club organizer and participant, she was also past president of the Cleveland World Affairs Club, and more recently active in Daughters of the American Revolution and United Daughters of the Confederacy.
Funeral service Friday, February 20, 2015 at 12PM in the Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, where the family will receive friends on Thursday from 3-7PM. Interment at Sunset Memorial Park. dostalbokas.com
