Maurice "Munch" Anderson Sr's Obituary
Maurice R. Anderson Sr., affectionately known as "Munch," was born on October 14, 1978, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Eula Jean Walker (Nee Anderson) and Maurice R. Anderson, who both preceded him in death.
Munch is survived by his sister, Chuntaye, and his brother, Tracy, both of Cleveland, Ohio.
He also leaves behind his four children: Maurice R. Anderson Jr., Kiara M. Anderson, Antonio Anderson, and Nora Jean Anderson, all of Cleveland, OH. Additionally, he is survived by his beloved niece, Aniyah, and nephew, Samiir. He also leaves behind his ex-wife and high school sweetheart, TiEast Joyner.
He attended the Cleveland Public School System and later earned his GED in 1998. Munch will be dearly missed by his uncles, Bobby, Samuel, and Charles, as well as his aunts, Denise, Leslie, and Dionna, all of Cleveland.
Loved by many, Munch was a natural protector, always looking out for his younger siblings. He had a passion for creativity, enjoying drawing, making music, and playing basketball and video games. He also had a deep love for technology, often using his hands to build, repair, and reinvent whatever he could.
Above all, Munch cherished time with his family. His greatest joy was reconnecting with his children and creating lasting memories with them.
Munch was a devoted father, son, brother, nephew, and friend of strength, laughter, and unwavering support to those who knew him. His presence will be profoundly missed but never forgotten.
