Melinda Jo Ward's Obituary
Melinda Jo (nee Sickels) Ward, 74, of Strongsville, passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2021.
Melinda was born to the late John and Elinor (nee Mathews) Sickels on May 5, 1947.
Melinda is the wife of 49 years of David A. Ward; mother of Christine (David) Uhrin and John Ward; sister to Dianne (Harvey) Johnson and Candace Bell.
Melinda served as an information operator for 35 years for AT&T (Ohio Bell) and as a door greeter at Walmart for 7 years. She was a people person and made everyone’s day. She will be dearly missed.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 9 from 5pm until 8pm at the Sunset Chapel located at 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted 44070. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 10 at 2pm at the Sunset Chapel. Melinda will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park following the services.
