Melvin Edson Gollon's Obituary
Melvin Edson Gollon, age 76, of Seven Hills, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2019.
He was born January 19, 1943, in Cleveland, son of the late Edson and Emily Gollon. He is a U.S. Navy veteran. Melvin loved all sports, including volleyball, softball, and especially bowling. He was an incredibly dapper dresser whose clothes were always perfectly pressed. Most importantly, he loved his family and he will be greatly missed.
Devoted husband of 52 years to Antoinette “Nina” Gollon (nee Danisi); cherished father of Mark Gollon and Kevin (Jennifer) Gollon; beloved grandfather of Jack and James Gollon; loving twin brother of the late Marilyn Gollon.
Visitation will take place on Monday, September 9, 2019 from 4PM – 8PM in the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, OH 44070. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, September 10, at 10AM at St. Michael Catholic Church, 6912 Chestnut Dr., Independence, OH. Entombment immediately following in the Westwood Abbey Mausoleum in Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted.
