Melvin L. Jenkins' Obituary
Melvin L. Jenkins, 84, of North Olmsted passed away on January 31, 2021. Born in Confluence, PA to the late Leslie and Eva (nee Frazee) Jenkins on April 27, 1936. Besides his parents, Melvin is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley, who passed away in 2015 and siblings: Roy Jenkins, Don Jenkins, and Mary Ann Van Swearingen.
Melvin is survived by his children Barry L. (Wendy) Jenkins, Marilyn A. (Carl) Panco, Brian L. (Jackie) Jenkins, and Wayne A. (former wife Natalie) Jenkins; grandchildren Elizabeth (Richard) Rowe, Kylee Jenkins, Brooke Jenkins, Skylar Jenkins, and Kamryn Jenkins; great-grandchildren Elyse, Alayna, and Ryan; brother Tom (Rose) Jenkins; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Melvin enjoyed meeting new people and spending time with old friends and family. He was kind and friendly to everyone he met. He worked hard to provide for his family. Over the years, his kindness and love showed so much that other people would ‘adopt’ him as their father and grandfather. He was so dearly loved and will be missed in the days to come.
