I did not know Mr. Sessions personally, but I know his wife, Mrs. Viola Sessions, very well. I also grew up with some of his great-grandchildren in church at St. Paul AME. I know that Mrs. Sessions faithfully prayed for her husband and always petitioned the church to pray for him and we always did. I know Mr. Sessions suffered a while, but I reminded of Paul's words in Romans 8:18"For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us." All of the suffering Mr. Sessions had on this earth are no comparison for the glory he is experiencing this very moment with the Lord.
