Michael Gierlach's Obituary
Michael Gierlach, 60, of North Ridgeville, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017.
Beloved father of Keith Michael Gierlach and Kelly Faye Gierlach; loving grandfather of Adyson J. Gierlach; caring brother of Matthew (Meryl Brownstein) Gierlach, Mary (Dennis) Freeman, Margaret Willis and Martin (Elizabeth) Gierlach.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents Chester and Faye Gierlach, and brother-in-law William Willis.
He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed archery, hunting, canoeing and being outdoors. Michael served his country as a Lance Corporal in the United States Marine Corps, where he earned the distinction of a master marksman.
Memorial service will be held Friday, January 27, 2017 at 10AM in the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd. North Olmsted, Ohio 44070.
In Lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Michael Gierlach memorial fund, checks payable to Martin Gierlach 11400 N.W. 21 Court, Plantation, FL 33323.
