Michael A Manosky's Obituary
Reverend Michael A. Manosky, 59, of Elyria went to be with the Lord on Friday October 10, 2014 after suffering an apparent heart attack. He was born February 19, 1955 in Elyria and was a lifelong Elyria resident. Mike served as the senior pastor of the Sugar Ridge Baptist Church in North Ridgeville for many years. His true passion was serving the Lord. A 1973 Elyria High School graduate, he was the former president of Love Inc. in Elyria, a member of the Southern Baptist Association and numerous other church related affiliations. Pastor Mike enjoyed bowling, golfing and was a avid Cleveland sports fan. Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Pamela (nee-Harris); daughter, Jackie Manosky of Elyria; son, Joshua Manosky of Grafton; aunt and uncle, Virginia and Michael Ehlert of Elyria; father-in-law, Sammie Harris of Grafton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Rita Manosky and his mother-in-law, Joyce Harris. The family will receive friends Tuesday 2:00-7:00 p.m. at the Sugar Ridge Baptist Church 36600 Sugar Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday October 15, 2014 at the church. The Rev. Michael Matovich will Officiate. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted. In liue of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the church. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd., Elyria.
