Michael E. Ochall's Obituary
Michael E. Ochall,age 86, of North Olmsted, peacefully passed away on January 25, 2024. He was born November 7, 1937, in Pittston, Pennsylvania, to the late Michael and Mary (nee Hutsko) Ochall. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. After his time in the service, he was a loyal employee at Ohio Bell, where he retired.
Michael and Joan enjoyed a happy and healthy retirement, spending their years taking over 37 cruise vacations. He liked to stay active and ran in many marathons. Above all, he was a loving husband, devoted father, and adored grandfather and great-grandfather who will be dearly missed.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Alexis Riegel.
He leaves behind a loving family to cherish his memory, including his wife of 64 years, Joan Ochall; children, Michael (Kathy) Ochall Jr., Debbie Riegel, Robert (Ann) Ochall, David Ochall, and Jeffrey (Kimberly) Ochall; 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Jane Joyce; as well as other extended family members and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 Noon on February 22, 2024, at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070. He will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park with full military honors.
