Michael Polivka's Obituary
Michael Joseph Polivka, 57, of Westlake, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on May 30, 2022. He was born on December 5, 1964 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late John and Frances (nee Simunek) Polivka. Michael was the co-owner of GR Group Sales and had a great love for cars. He attended many car shows over the years and proudly displayed his 2005 Z28 Camaro and 2017 Black Rose colored Corvette in those shows. Michael found great happiness on his joyrides and often took his treasured rabbit Oreo along for the ride. He will be missed by his beloved wife Karyn (nee Ramey) of 30 years; loving children Bryan and Taylor Polivka; dear brother John (Janet) Polivka; cherished nieces Alexis and Rachel Polivka; and many extended family members and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022 from 4-8 PM at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 12 Noon at the chapel. He will be privately laid to rest at Sunset Cemetery.
