Michael Kent Seevers' Obituary
Michael Kent Seevers, age 79, of Parma Heights, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born July 3, 1940 in East Liverpool, OH; son of the late Homer and Helen (nee Gillis) Seevers. Michael was a strong man of faith and active member at Parma Heights Baptist Church. He was a landscaper for the City of Parma Heights for 42 years and a bus driver for the children’s department at his church. He was an avid bike rider, a proud fan of all Cleveland and Ohio State sports teams, and loved to read and learn about history. Most importantly, Michael loved his family and will be greatly missed.
Devoted husband of 54 years to Joyce L. (nee Herris) Seevers; cherished father of Leone Seevers, Peggy L. (Daniel) Lowery, and Michael Seevers Jr.; beloved grandfather of Joyce Lottie Lowery; loving brother of the late Gary (Bonnie) Seevers, Glen (Kathy) Seevers, Robert (Nancy) Seevers, and Susan (Chris) Tobin; treasured uncle and friend of many.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 from 3PM – 7PM in the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, OH 44070 where funeral service will commence on Thursday, December 19 at 10AM. Interment immediately following in Sunset Memorial Park.
