Myrtle Leona Daley's Obituary
Myrtle Leona Daley, age 95, passed away on February 13, 2021 in Cleveland, Ohio. Known to her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and most of her extended family members as “Buca,” Myrtle, quite simply, was one of the kindest, most loving people who ever walked the face of the earth.
Myrtle was predeceased by her parents, William and Leona James, her husband, Dick Daley, her sister Harriet Laing, and Dick’s brother and sisters, Robert, Lois, Phyllis, Patricia, Doris, and Grace. Myrtle is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jackie and Pat Couch, her son Rick Daley and daughter-in-law Sandy Rich, and her sisters-in-law Geraldine and Esther Daley. Buca has four grandchildren – Jenny Couch (Brent Lawhorne), Greg Couch (Margaret Couch), Jill Daley, and Michael Daley. Her five greatgrandchildren (Jackson, Madalyn,, Michelle, Elise, and Mae) are all blessed to have Buca occupy a place in their hearts.
Per Myrtle’s clearly articulated instructions (“I don’t want any of that”), there will be no visiting hours at a funeral home. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Myrtle will be buried in a private ceremony attended by immediate family only.
Should you want to do something in Myrtle’s memory, please call or send a note to your mother, your grandmother, your sister, your daughter, or your aunt and say, “I love you and am thinking of you.” Oh, and also say, “Buca says hello.”
