Nadine Elizabeth Brooke's Obituary
Nadine Elizabeth Brooke, 66, passed away peacefully after a long illness, on March 11, 2025. She was surrounded by her children and grandchildren.
She grew up in Chelsea, VT, the daughter of Forrest and Elizabeth (Packnick) Sanborn.
Nadine is survived by her brother, Forrest Sanborn and his wife, Martha Mahan; a daughter, Danielle Walsh and her husband Jeremy Walsh, four grandchildren, Eleora, Naomi, Ariel, and Isaiah; a son, Jacob Brooke and his wife Lydia Brooke; and a cousin, Arlene McLeod and her partner, Bruce MacDonald.
Nadine was a born again believer in Jesus. She often spoke with loving concern about her desire for people to be saved, whether they were friend or foe to her. She’d share that she didn’t always know what to say, but that she hoped for them.
She loved nature, animals, and gardening. She was creative at heart, which included a passion for photography.
She is already greatly missed, but there is also great comfort in knowing that she will be reunited with those who also join her one day in heaven.
While Nadine is departed to be with the Lord, her daughter is available to share the gospel with anyone who wants to know how they can be certain of salvation. Even if you’re a stranger happening upon this.

“These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.”
1 John 5:13
Nadine will be remembered, not only by her loved ones still here, but by her Heavenly Father forever.
