Tribute to Nancy ~
Our Mom loved everyone and everyone loved her. It showed in all she did…from her love of her family to the charities she quietly supported. She was amazing. She was strong in her faith; understanding, compassionate, sweet, lovable, witty, funny, beautiful, sincere, honest, and non-judgmental. So full of life she never complained and never asked for anything. She was the best mom, best grandma, best wife, and best friend.
Mom enjoyed all sports and attended as many games and activities her grandkids were involved with. She was a vocal fan…let’s just say the refs knew she was there! No matter if they won or lost, she cheered her grandkids on…then slid them some coin for a job well done.
Through working, volunteering, and taking care of the house, she was ALWAYS there for us, no matter what. And the love my parents had for each other was extraordinary. Dad stayed by mom’s side day and night throughout her battle with cancer and love really shone through with how he cared for her every need till the very end.
We know mom is now free as a bird and is watching down on us from a place where there are no tears, no fears, and no pain. Amen to that. She fought through the pain for us I’m sure as she was, and always will be, an unconditional giver of love and of herself.
We can only hope to be half of what she was.
See you in Heaven Mom. We Love You & Miss You
