Nancy Jo Driftmyer's Obituary
Nancy Jo Driftmyer, 75, of Avon Lake, Ohio, passed away on August 17, 2024 in Cleveland, Ohio. Born on October 9, 1948, in North Tonawanda, New York, to the late Lester and Margaret Driftmyer, Nancy’s life was a vibrant tapestry of adventure, creativity, and love.
Nancy was preceded in death by her sisters, Janet Poletta and Reverend Jane Dale Ressler. She leaves behind a legacy cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Nancy’s career as a teacher spanned many years, during which she inspired countless students with her passion for learning. Her adventurous spirit took her to new and exciting places, and she had a deep love for travel that enriched her life.
A true artist at heart, Nancy’s creativity shone through in her crafts. She had a passion for music that resonated with everyone around her. She found joy and comfort in her church, North Olmsted United Methodist Church. Her beloved cats were her constant companions, bringing her joy and comfort.
Nancy’s legacy of passion, adventure, and creativity will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. Her vibrant spirit and the joy she brought to those around her will be deeply missed.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday October 5th, 2024 at 12:00pm at North Olmsted United Methodist Church. 4600 Dover Center Rd, North Olmsted, OH 44070
