Nancy Riffle's Obituary
Nancy K. Riffle, age 77, passed away on Monday, December 14th, 2015 in Medina. Nancy was born February 24, 1938, in Cleveland, OH to the late William and Hilda (Gottschling) Thompson. She retired from a supervisor position at the State Welfare Department in Cuyahoga County. Nancy loved to play the piano and took delight in her music. She enjoyed playing Bingo and traveling to Florida. But most of all, she loved her furry companion, Mitzi.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 55 years, Alva “Al”, who worked at the GM Parma Plant; nephews Matthew and William Thompson; two great nieces; and brother William (Nancy) Thompson.
Family will receive friends Thursday, December 17th, from 6-8pm at the Waite and Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St, Medina. Burial will take place Friday, December 18th at 11:00am, at Sunset Memorial Park, 6265 Columbia Rd, North Olmsted, (please meet at cemetery front gate).
