Neva Lee Sears' Obituary
Neva L. Sears (nee Cogar), 80 years old, of Strongsville, passed away June 27, 2014. Beloved mother of the late Michael L. Cogar and loving daughter of the late Lloyd “Jake” and Bheula “Biddie” (nee Hall) Cogar.
Neva was born on October 8, 1933 in Webster Springs, WV. She was a graduate of Webster Springs High School. Neva later moved to Ohio and eventually retired as Vice President from Mueller Art Cover and Binding in Strongsville after 30+ years of service.
She is survived by siblings Donald Cogar (Marge), Lee Parsons (Ralph, deceased), Mardell Kline (Donald, deceased) and Delmas Cogar (Brenda) ; loving aunt, great-aunt and great-great-aunt; dear friend to many.
In addition to her parents, Neva is preceded in death by her siblings Louise Wright, Garnet Cogar (Betty), Ann Achee, Doris Watkins (Charles, deceased) and Katrina Darby (Alan, deceased).
Graveside service Monday, July 7, 2014 at 11:30AM in Sunset Memorial Park. Please meet at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, at 11:15AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Strongsville Emergency Food Bank, 13200 Pearl Rd., Strongsville 44136 or to Hospice Services at Southwest General, 18697 Bagley Rd., Middleburg Hts., OH 44130.
