Nora Lynn McDonnell's Obituary
Nora Lynn McDonnell, 65, of Westlake passed away surrounded by her family on January 31, 2020 following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Berea on January 27, 1955 to the late Arthur and Barbara (Soen) Schultz. Survived by her loving children Kelly (Joe) Pettry, Dawn (Shawn) Calvert, Christopher (Stephanie) McDonnell, Shannon (Jared) Woodford, and Erin (Jeff) Berman; cherished grandchildren: Kayla, Joey, Madison, Chase, Tommy, Ryan, Marybeth, Nathaniel, Christian, Johanna, Wesley and 2 more on the way; and brothers Jeff and David Schultz and Linn Roath. Nora is loved and adored by many and will be dearly missed.
Nora was an artist of many factions including drawing, painting, and interior design; a lover of music, dancing, and was a passionate follower of the Bachelor and recently Flirty Dancing. She will be remembered by her beautiful smile, laughter, and spunky personality; by her stubborn and intuitive mind, but most importantly by the way she loved her family with all her heart and spirit.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 from 4PM until 8PM at the Sunset Chapel located at 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted 44070. Funeral service will begin at 10AM on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at the Sunset Chapel. Burial will immediately follow services at Sunset Memorial Park. Donations may be made to the Hospice of Western Reserve in Nora’s memory.
