Noreen Walsh-Simone's Obituary
Noreen Walsh‑Simone, age 72, of North Olmsted, Ohio, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2026.
She was born on March 30, 1953, to the late Joseph and Mary Walsh. Noreen was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas Simone; and her brother, Thomas Walsh.
Noreen is survived by her loving children, Kevin (Melissa) Walsh, Kathleen (Brian) Singleton, and Sean (Melissa) Walsh. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Owen, Riley, Katelyn, Emma, and Connor. She is also survived by her sisters, Kathleen Nowak and Mary Jo Kochmit.
Noreen cherished life’s simple pleasures. She enjoyed relaxing by the condo pool and treasured time spent with those she loved. Some of her happiest memories were made with her family and friends during summers at Quinn’s Cove in Huron, a place that held a special place in her heart. Noreen also had a deep appreciation for her heritage and loved traveling to Ireland with her husband, where they joyfully explored her Irish roots.
Above all, Noreen will be remembered for her warmth, her devotion to her family, and the love she shared with all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved.
Memorial Visitation will be held at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070 on Friday, March 27, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Christopher Parish, 20141 Detroit Road Rocky River, Ohio 44116 on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 10:00 a.m.
She will be laid to rest privately at a later date at Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted, Ohio.
