Orien B Rigney's Obituary
Orien Rigney age 83, born Dec.11, 1932, passed away Nov. 12, 2016. Orien Burney Rigney (Lefty) was called from this world on November 12, 2016, to learn the answers to all questions his brilliant mind had been seeking after a brief stay at St. John’ Westshore Hospital and years of battling physical ailments with courage and dignity. He was born and raised in rural West Virginia and lived for over fifty years in Northeast Ohio. He served in the army during the Korean War. He was a sports enthusiast and was fond of poker and Texas hold ’em. A generous man, he would always lend his expertise as a journeyman electrian to his many friends and family. He was retired from the Ford Motor Co. in Brookpark, Ohio. He was the last surviving sibling of his parents Burney and Isoria Rigney. He was preceded into eternity by two wives, Glenna Jean (ne Day) and Eleanor Catherine (ne Jubon). Remembered and cherished by his children: David, Orion, Daniel, Renee, Wendy, Denise, and Douglas. Survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.Prayers offered up for those less fortunate in Lefty’s name are all that the family hopes and asks for in remembrance.
