Owen Horace McDonald, age 77, beloved and cherished husband of 58 years on June 25th and best friend for 62 years of Marilou (nee Morgan); father of Jewell Brake (Bill), Timothy (Katrina), Thomas (Linda), and Todd (Vickie) McDonald; grandfather of Justus Brake (Tina Boyle Brake), Britney McDonald (Matt McElwain), Cailey Brake (Brad Kellogg), Chuck McDonald (Nicole Elliott), Tim McDonald Jr. (Rachel Krems), Max McDonald, Tyler Brake (Jordan Zofcin), Todd McDonald, Greg McDonald, Cole McDonald (Teresa Cantu), Jenny, Bruce, and Scarlett McDonald; great grandfather to be; son of the late Owen S. and Melva (nee Fowler) McDonald; brother of the late Ted, the late Ruby Jewell, the late Luther (Donna), and the late Claude (Vivian); brother-in-law of the late Betty Koch (the late Ray), Ruth Thomas (the late Marvin), and Carol Bartlett (the late Bob); loving uncle of many nieces and nephews; died at home June 27, 2013. He was a 50+ year carpenter. He coached Little League and took care of everyone. His main saying was â??Stay out of the honky tonks, keep your hands in your pockets, and your mouth shut.â? Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. MONDAY, July 1, 2013 in the Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, where services will be held 12:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 2, 2013.
