Patricia Ann Semrau's Obituary
Patricia Ann Semrau, age 83, of Olmsted Falls, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 12, 2020.
She was born June 20, 1937, in Charleston, WV; daughter of the late Ebert and Thelma (nee Hyre) Thompson. Patricia enjoyed playing bingo, gambling, and cooking. Some of her specialties were banana bread her famous peanut butter fudge. She was a very active and involved mother, when her kids were in school. She was in the PTA and eventually went back to school, herself, to become a nurse in her 40s. She loved her nursing job. Patricia had a small group of friends that she enjoyed visiting with and was a member of the North Ridgeville VFW and a lifetime auxiliary member there. She loved traveling and vacationing, tagging along with her kids to Disney World on several occasions. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family and all of her grandchildren. Patricia’s kind and loving nature will never be forgotten.
Devoted wife of the late George C. Semrau; cherished mother of Deborah (Monica) Jordan, Jonathan (Debbie) Jordan, Kevin (Jeanne) Jordan, and Dawne Jordan; beloved grandmother of Heather, Melody, Christofer, Reanna, Bret, J.J., Katy, Tesa, Thomas, Cassandra, and Bradlee; loving great grandmother of 13.
Visitation will take place on Friday, September 18, 2020 from 12Noon – 2PM in the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, OH 44070 where funeral service will commence at 2PM. Entombment immediately following in Sunset Memorial Park.
