Patricia Elaine Van Gilder's Obituary
Patricia Elaine Van Gilder, age 87, of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away on March 7, 2025. She was born on October 22, 1937, in Scottsdale, Pennsylvania, to the late Charles and Mary Elizabeth Dibler.
In 1952, Patricia moved from Pennsylvania to Cleveland, where she graduated from West High School in 1955. She dedicated many years of her professional life to Triad, retiring in 2001.
Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Willis Van Gilder, with whom she shared a beautiful marriage since February 11, 1956. She is survived by her loving children: Vivian Van Gilder, Kevin (Jeanette) Van Gilder, and Pamela (Guy) Ambrosetti.
Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Shaun, Bryce (the late Lynette), Timothy, Angela (John), Eric (Jonelle), Kevin (Cara), Cory (Jessica), and Heather (John). She was also blessed with great-grandchildren: Makayla (Travis), Tyler, MaKenzie, Hailey, Hannah, and Riley, and a great-great-grandchild, Travis.
Patricia is survived by her sister, Joann (the late Donald), and she was preceded in death by her siblings: Betty (Gib), Charles (Nancy), and Kenneth (Barbara).
Patricia will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the love she shared with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held at the Parma Park Church of God, 12000 Huffman Road, Parma, Ohio 44130 on Friday, March 21, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 p.m., with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted, Ohio (Section Sermon on the Mount, Lot G, Crypt 270).
