Paul J. DeCaprio's Obituary
Paul J. DeCaprio, 54, of Fairview Park, Ohio, passed away on February 13, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, adventure, and a spirit. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Paul was the cherished son of Kathleen Fleming (née Finding) and the late Florian P. DeCaprio.
He is survived by his loving siblings Dominic (Carolyn) DeCaprio and Teresa (Greg) DePaulo; his adored niece Gwendolyn DeCaprio; his devoted significant other Jim Lucas; and his half‑siblings Devra (Richard) Konjura and Cindy (Ryan) Szabo.
Paul lived with a zest for life that was impossible to ignore. He was always ready for the next adventure—sometimes even inviting himself along—because he believed life was meant to be shared. Whether he was exploring a new city or discovering a hidden gem close to home, Paul embraced every journey with open arms and an open heart. He delighted in trying new foods, savoring flavors as unique and bold as he was.
Music was one of Paul’s great joys, and the voices of Madonna and Cher were the soundtrack to many of his happiest moments. Their songs lifted him, inspired him, and filled his days with rhythm and color.
Paul’s warmth, humor, and unmistakable charm touched everyone who knew him. His absence leaves a space that cannot be filled, but his memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to share life with him.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the Cleveland Sight Center, 1909 E 101st St, Cleveland, OH 44106 https://www.clevelandsightcenter.org/
