Paul N. Phillips, 91, passed away March 19, 2021.
He was born in Middletown, OH on December 22, 1929 to the late Dorothy & Asa Phillips.
Beloved husband of Joanne (Herbst) Phillips, whom he married August 9, 1955. Cherished father of Leslie Carpenter, Gary Phillips (Sue), and Dean Phillips (Renee), devoted grandfather of Michael Cecys (Kelsey), Kady Carpenter (Cody Vild), Rachel Sabo (Ryan), Ryan Carpenter; Justin Phillips, Asa Phillips and Derek Phillips; great-grandfather of Finley Phillips, Madison Sabo; dearly loved by Mike (deceased), Laura and Kevin Radigan & Julie Bendzuck. Beloved uncle and devoted friend to the Leonard family and many others. Preceded in death by sisters Betty Martin & Nancy Forrest, and brother Robert Phillips.
Paul was a long-time resident of Olmsted Falls who committed 44 years to DairyPak/Champion International Paper. He was the former president of Olmsted Falls Athletic Boosters Association and former president of the Al Koran Shrine of Parma. He enjoyed go-cart racing, cars, bowling, and attending the Indy 500. He will also be remembered as an avid Browns fan and season ticket holder. He enjoyed hosting pig roasts & clambakes, cruises, hunting, and Canada family vacations.
