Paul E. Zahn's Obituary
Paul E. Zahn, 89, of Olmsted Falls, passed away December 18, 2016.
Born to Henry and Mary Zahn (both deceased), Paul grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and proudly served our country during the Korean conflict as a corporal in the First Cav Division (5th Reg). After being discharged, he owned and trained thoroughbred horses and subsequently became a U.S. Postal worker while raising 5 children. A wonderful man with a big heart, he will be terribly missed by all who knew him.
Beloved father of Linda Martin (Peter Boewe), James Zahn (Kathryn), Carol Zahn, Marilyn Zahn (George), Ronald Zahn; grandfather of Cameron & Matthew Martin and Jimmy Zahn; great grandfather of Zoey; brother of Art Kern, Albert Zahn, Selma Kovacs, Robert Zahn and Evelyn Uhlman (all deceased); former husband of Rheta Schubeck. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, December 27, 2016, from 12 – 2 PM, at the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, OH where funeral services will commence at 2 PM. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Memorial Donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
