Since then she has enjoyed being a wife and grandmother.
Paula was an active room mother for both boys, a Cub Scout leader for Dale and active in the High School Band Booster organization for both boys. She was also treasurer of the band boosters.
As a family we took annual vacations that covered 48 states and most parts of Canada and Mexico. After the boys left home we visited dude ranches in Colorado (her favorite state). She also visited Hawaii twice.

She was Assistant Class Administrator, Secretary, and a Discussion Leader. Paula truly enjoyed leadership, but resigned in May of 2004 because it is a great commitment, and it was time for Paula and Ray to be able to spend more quality time together.
