Peter Charles Iaffaldano's Obituary
Peter C. Iaffaldano, 57, of Fairview Park, passed away suddenly June 23, 2014 in Seward, Alaska while on vacation.
Beloved son of Peter (Jeanne – deceased) Iaffaldano and step-son to Ruth Marnalse; dearest brother of Jim (Carol), Ioannella, Ella (Kirk) Koloini, John (Sherry) and Ann Iaffaldano; fondest uncle of Marla Diop (Dave Jarvey), Kevin (Julie)Koloini, Kyle Koloini (Samantha Lewis), Kristopher Koloini, Karina and Katlynn Iaffaldano; great uncle of Connor, Lex and Wm. Cedar Koloini, Lily, Taj and Priya Jarvey; favorite nephew of Carmella (John) Davey – both deceased; special cousin of Joe Antuna (Maryann), Sharon Whitehead and more of Syracuse, New York; treasured friend of Gladys, Robert, Steve, Carlos and John (deceased); lovingly cared for by Larry Angyalosi, Gordon Sawyors and many staff.
Peter worked at Hattie’s Café in the CCBDD building in Cleveland and most recently in Pulley’s Café in the Westlake Porter Public Library. He loved gemstones, cars, bowling, family celebrations, trips and bob Evans. He was a delight to all who knew and loved him.
Mass of Christian burial will take place on Monday, June 30, 2014, 11 AM, at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 20141 Detroit Rd., Rocky River, OH 44116. Interment in Sunset Memorial Park will immediately follow. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29, 2014 from 2- 6 PM at The Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, OH 44070. In lieu of flowers, donations welcomed in his name to Our Lady Of The Wayside, 38135 Colorado Ave., Avon, OH 44011.
