Philip H. Bode's Obituary
Philip Hazen Bode 82, Mooresville, NC passed away peacefully November 18, 2016.
Born June 25, 1934 in Lakewood, OH to the late Dr. Oliver William and Hazel Seager Bode. Mr Bode received the National Defense Service Medal from the US Army and retired from Ohio Bell. Mr. Bode was a member of The Cove Church where he was also a volunteer. He also volunteered at the Mooresville Soup Kitchen and Lake Norman Hospital. He was preceded in death by a brother, David Oliver Bode. Mr. Bode is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Margaret Dreger Bode; son, David Alfred Bode and wife Debra Jean Bode; grandsons Brian Allen Bode and Eric Scott Bode; special brother-in-law Will Dreger and sister-in-law Tess Bode and five nieces.
Visitation will be held at Sunset Chapel, Wednesday, December 21, from 5 to 7 PM with a memorial service officiated by Pastor Jim Garber held Thursday, December 22, at 10 AM at the Sunset Chapel (6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, OH 44070).
