Phillip J. Melicant's Obituary
Phillip J. Melicant, 77, passed away on April 12, 2024. He was born on March 2, 1947 to the late Michael and Mary Melicant.
He is survived by his sons, Phillip (Tina) Melicant Jr., David Melicant, and Kevin Melicant; his grandchildren, Carter Melicant, Paige Melicant, Brandon Melicant, and Kayden Melicant; and his sisters, Diane Garmon and Marianne (Eric) Melicant-Manzo.
In addition to his parents, Phillip was preceded in death by his wife, Judith Melicant.
Phillip served his country in the United States Army in Vietnam from 1967 until 1968. He worked as a computer programmer for Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District, where he retired from after 32 years. He enjoyed air shows and collecting guns, and he loved spending time with his grandchildren. Phillip is loved by many and will be greatly missed.
His memorial service will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd, North Olmsted, OH 44070, with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
