Phyllis J. Henson's Obituary
Phyllis J. Henson, 64, of Olmsted Falls, passed away February 12, 2018.
She was born in Berea, the beloved daughter of the late Elmer and Shelby Johnson Henson and step-daughter of the late Jay Jarvis. Phyllis is the loving sister of Robert (Lynn) Jarvis (deceased), Martha (Bruce) Holzheimer, Thomas (Pat) Henson and Timothy Jarvis; cherished niece of Margie (Bobby) Evans and adored aunt and great-aunt of many.
Phyllis graduated from Baldwin Wallace University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education in 1976, the year Bob Hope was the commencement speaker. She retired from Cintas following 35 years of employment and was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star of Ohio New Hope Chapter #590. Phyllis enjoyed the many cruises she went on with her family and cherished the time she spent with her nieces and nephews.
At the request of the family, all services will be private. Donations in Phyllis’ memory may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Ohio Buckeye, 6155 Rockside Rd. Ste. 202, Independence 44131.
