Ralph A. Emerick's Obituary
Ralph A. Emerick, 94, peacefully passed away on December 20, 2023. He was born on September 21, 1929, in Cleveland, to the late Ralph and Marian (nee Tatarka) Emerick.
Ralph was a lifelong baseball fan and coach. He spent most of his life managing and coaching middle school through AAA Baseball teams. He loved to share his passion and knowledge of the game with the children. He was an avid Cleveland Indians fan. Ralph was also a great storyteller and jokester, he had a knack for making people smile. He was always cheerful, laughing, and generous. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Joanne Emerick; children, Elaine (Larry), Paula (James), Jeffrey (Tracy), Jonathan (Staci), and Joel (Kathy); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Joan (Dean); nieces and nephews; and other extended family members and friends.
Friends and Family may gather on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, from 11:00AM to 1:00PM at Sunset Chapel (6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070). A Funeral Service will begin at 1:00PM, officiated by Pastor Justin Jump. He will be laid to rest at Sunset Cemetery, in Section 34.
