Randall W. Puzzitiello's Obituary
Randall Welke Puzzitiello, 64, of North Olmsted, Ohio, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Sunday, November 28, 2021. Beloved husband of 17 years to Mary (nee Bradley) Puzzitiello; loving father of Randall (Katherine) and Alyssa; loving step father of Anthony DeMore and Carlee DeMore; cherished grandfather of Lola Puzziteillo and Isabella DeMore; dear brother of Rocco “Rick” (Kathy), Ronald, Robert and Lisa; uncle of Rocco Puzzitiello IV, Jason Weegar, Britney (Jeremy Miller), Andrea (Dave Rice), Ronald Puzzitiello, Justin Weegar, Rachelle Puzzitiello and Robbie Puzzitiello; great uncle of Ruby Rice and Mason Miller; nephew and cousin of many. Preceded in death by his beloved wife of 16 years, Yolanda (nee DiCenzo) Puzziteillo.
Randall was born in Cleveland, Ohio on October 29, 1957 to the late Rocco H. and Hennie (nee Welke) Puzzitiello. He graduated from Fairview Park High School and later attended Kent State University. Randall was a dedicated and skilled homebuilder with a 40-year career that began at Hennie Homes, the family business founded by his father, Rocco. In the 1990s, Randall went on to found his own homebuilding company, Avalon Homes, where he used his business expertise and innovative style to build custom luxury homes. Randall later became a successful real estate agent licensed in both Ohio and Arizona.
Outside of work, Randall was a talented golfer who could often be found on the golf course or the driving range perfecting his beautiful swing. He was an avid outdoorsman with an enduring love of skiing, camping, and fishing. He especially enjoyed hiking in the Rocky River Reservation and boating on Lake Erie with wife, Mary. Randall was also an enthusiastic sports fan who always looked forward to attending Cleveland Browns, Cavaliers and Indians games with his family. When not at home in Ohio, Randall loved spending time on the beaches of Florida and in the beautiful mountains of Arizona.
Randall is remembered as a passionate, kind and loving man with a positive spirit and a generous heart who always wanted the best for those around him. He prized his family above all else and was incredibly proud of the achievements of his children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Randall could always be found with a smile on his face and a story to share. He greeted everyone with genuine enthusiasm and was a beacon of joy and light to many. Randall’s indomitable spirit was an inspiration to all that knew him. He will be missed.
The family will receive friends on Monday, December 6, 2021 from 12-2 PM in the Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 6245 Columbia Rd. North Olmsted, where the Funeral Service will begin at 2 PM.
