Randi Jones (nee Dansberg)'s Obituary
Randi Jones (nee Dansberg) , age 67, of North Olmsted, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2019. She was born June 7, 1952 in Cleveland, daughter of the late Albert and Ellen (nee Whitehead) Dansberg.
She was the cherished wife of 33 yrs to the late Edward Jones; beloved mother of Brian (Laurie) and Scott (Denise); loving grandmother of Casey (Stephanie), Jacob, Tyler, Avery, Mason, and Maddox; devoted great grandmother of Xyleena; caring sister of Terry (Julia) and Susan (Arthur) Tarr; best friend in the whole wide world of Ginny Hodgins Layton.
Randi, “Gummy” as her family loving called her, always put her family first. She was a wonderful wife, mom, sister grandmother and friend to all. Randi loved to keep busy, never saying no and donated her time endlessly. She was proudly on the North Olmsted Community Council, President of the North Olmsted High School Alumni Association and names citizen of the year. Randi was a boy scout leader, and a North Olmsted hockey mom. She worked tirelessly every year on the North Olmsted City Homecoming Parade. Randi touched so many lives and will be greatly missed by family, friends and her community.
Visitation will take place on Friday, November 22, 2019 from 1PM – 8PM in the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, OH 44070 where funeral service will commence on Saturday, November 23, at 10AM. Randi will be laid to rest with her husband at a later date in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
