Raymond B. Meyer's Obituary
Raymond Bell Meyer, age 85 of North Ridgeville, passed away July 23, 2020. Beloved husband of 54 years to Linda (nee Mann); loving father of Stephen (Tammy) and Christopher (Gary); cherished grandfather of 6; great-grandfather of 1; dear brother of Wally (Joan) and the late Michael (Philip); “adopted father” of John and Linda Hall and their 2 children.
Ray retired after 32 years with Union Carbide and then spent 27 years as a volunteer tax preparer for seniors. He was a Ruby Life Master bridge player who played clubs bridges as part of unit 125 of the American Contract Bridge League in Cleveland and in his 20's and 30's took part in bridge tournaments throughout New York State.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at 2 PM in the Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 6245 Columbia Rd. North Olmsted. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
The family suggests donations may be made to P.E.O Foundation Elinor Mann Nursing Scholarship (7585), 3700 Grand Ave. Des Moines, IA 50312.
