Richard S. Dawson's Obituary
Richard “Digger” Dawson, age 95, of Westlake passed away December 14, 2020. He joins beloved wife of 72 years, Mary Alice; Father of the late Daryl Dawson (the late Barbara), Linda (Jerry) Sullivan, Debbie Mediate, and the late Richie; the grandfather of 9 and great grandfather of 10. The brother of Ralph, Raymond, Donald and Lester, all deceased; Godfather to Robert Keller.
Richard was a veteran of the 4th Marine Division in the US Marine Corps, serving in the South Pacific during WWII. A member of the VFW Post 421 and retired from Ohio Bell. He was an outdoorsman and could be found with his grandchildren in the parks feeding the ducks and planting trees.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 from 10 AM- 12 PM in the Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 6245 Columbia Rd. North Olmsted; where the Funeral Service will begin at 12 PM. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
