Richard Franklin Eplin's Obituary
Richard Franklin Eplin, age 63, passed away on May 24, 2026. He was born on August 11, 1962, to the late Hannah and Elmer Eplin.
Richard was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and a cherished brother and friend. He is survived by his beloved wife, Toni Eplin; his step-daughters, Courtney (Andy) Tenhover and Ashley (Dan) Trivisonno; and his treasured grandchildren, Ben and Tyler, who brought him immense pride and joy. He is also survived by his siblings, Brooke McKinny, Greg (Jerry) Eplin, Gary (Denise) Eplin, Sr., and Courtney Leslie; along with his nephews, Gary (Tatyana) Eplin, Jr. and Benjamin Eplin; and his nieces, Hannah Leslie and Mariah Leslie.
Richard dedicated over 30 years working alongside his brother, Gary, at Eplin Striping, building not only a career but a lasting legacy of hard work and commitment. Outside of work, he found great happiness on the golf course, spending time with friends at Rivals, and vacationing in Savannah, Georgia—a place he truly loved. He also took great pride in his impressive watch collection, reflecting his appreciation for craftsmanship and detail.
Known for his love for those closest to him, Richard will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Private services will be held at Sunset Memorial Chapel.
