Richard Allen Eyman's Obituary
Richard Allen Eyman, 79, born on May 15, 1947, in Cleveland, Ohio, passed away on July 27, 2026. He was the beloved son of the late Dale and Catherine Eyman (née Templin).
Richard was a devoted father to his son, Jason (Brandy) Eyman, and a proud grandfather to Tyler Eyman and Nolan Eyman, whom he adored and loved dearly. Spending time with his family brought him great joy, and the memories they shared together will be treasured forever.
Richard was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Norma Jean Eyman; his parents; and all of his siblings.
A proud veteran, Richard faithfully served his country in the United States Army. His service reflected the dedication, strength, and loyalty that characterized his life.
During the last year and a half of his life, Richard resided at the Ohio Veterans Home in Sandusky, where he was dearly loved and compassionately cared for by the staff and residents who came to know him. The kindness and friendship he received there brought comfort to both Richard and his family.
Richard's love for his family, his service to his country, and his warm presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Though he is gone from our sight, his memory will remain forever in the hearts of those whose lives he touched.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 5th, 2026, from 4:00PM-8:00PM at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070.
The following day on Thursday, August 6, 2026, another visitation will be held from 12:00PM-1:00PM at the Ohio Veterans Home, 3416 Columbus Ave, Sandusky, Ohio 44870.
A military memorial and funeral service will follow immediately at 1:00PM at the Ohio Veterans Home.
