Richard Donald Farr's Obituary
Richard Donald Farr, age 87, of Lakewood, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 30, 2020, with his loving family by his side.
He was born May 25, 1932, son of the late Donald and Margaret (nee Woods) Farr. Richard was an avid golfer. He loved watching action and western movies. He loves his dog, Baby Girl and is now reunited with his beloved dog, Snoopy. Richard will be greatly missed by all know were lucky enough to know him.
Devoted husband of 62 years to Shirley (nee Hough) Farr; cherished father of June Farr, Richard (Nancy) Farr, and Mary (Daniel) Cooper; beloved grandfather of Angela, Veronica, Christie, David, Steven, Katelyn, Angie, and Joey; loving great grandfather of Branden, Alicia, Caleb, Ashlee, Conner, Noah, Izayah, McKenzie, Autam, Jackson, and Matthew; treasured brother of Eleanor Schmitt; dearest brother-in-law of Kenneth (Barbara) Hough and the late William (Amber) Hough.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, February 2, 2020 from 1PM – 4PM in the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, OH 44070 where funeral service will commence on Monday, February 3, at 10AM.
Memorial contributions in Richard’s name are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
