Richard Thomas Haines' Obituary
Richard Thomas Haines Jr. (56)
passed away at Avenue at Strongsville on May 17, 2024 after a courageous fight with brain cancer.
He was born October 9, 1967, in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Richard Haines and Dixie Singer (Curtis). Rich graduated from Strongsville High School, Class of 1987.
Rich’s most recent employers were Sal’s Heating & Cooling and Safeguard Properties. He was responsible for customer service and resolving technical issues. Rich cared about each person that came through the company door and providing excellent service.
Rich was always ready to ride! He loved riding his motorcycle, enjoying what he liked to call wind therapy and posting scenic moments. He had a deep love for family and his laugh was truly one of a kind. He showed kindness and appreciation to anyone who was blessed to be in his life.
He was a devoted and caring son, protector of his mother, and they shared a very special “mother-son” bond.
Rich is survived by his mother Dixie Singer and father Richard Haines, his brother Jim Madison (Deena), sisters Cindy Delperuto (Michael), and Rachel Haines, as well as many aunts & uncles, nieces & nephews, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Chapel in Sunset Memorial Park, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted. A reception to follow after the service.
