Richard P Hajduk's Obituary
Richard P. Hajduk, 78, of Olmsted Falls, passed away peacefully Monday, April 17, 2017.
Born in Berea, OH to Peter and Jessie Hajduk; beloved husband of 56 years to LaVerne Hajduk; caring father of Barbara A. Hajduk, the late James (Elizabeth) Hajduk, Kenneth A. (Sandi Knuth) Hajduk; cherished grandfather of Lauren Dill, Hannah Hajduk, and James Hajduk Jr.; loving brother of Linda Miller, brother-in-law of Beverly Hajduk.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Daniel Hajduk, sister Paulette Medvecky, and brother-in-law Bob Miller.
Richard served his country in the United States Army. He was a Fireman for 38 years in Olmsted Falls. Richard was a fan of the Pittsburg Steelers and auto racing. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, going to his grandchildren’s sporting events, and spending as much time with his children and grandchildren as possible.
Visitation will take place ¬¬¬¬Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 4-8PM in the Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10AM at St. Mary’s of the Falls 8314 Columbia Rd. Olmsted Falls, OH 44138.
