To Rick's Family and Friends,
Forgive me for not being there today. But Rick will live on forever in my heart.
I could go on and on about all of the fun times we had as kids at his house, my house, Granny's cottage, camping with his family or at Uncle Don's farm. didn't matter where we were, we always had fun, even serving in the Ohio National Guard together. Hopefully someday soon I will be able to share some of these moments with his loving family. No one should ever have to endure what Rick went through these past years, but he somehow managed to do it with courage and dignity. Rick, you are loved by all of us, may you rest in peace.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the Nelsen family. Rick was a good friend and a fine man.
I have many good memories of time spent with him and his family.
May God Rest His Soul.

I have truly missed getting together with Rick on either Monday or Wednesday nites at
the North Olmsted VFW since Rick was fighting the terrible disease and the covid began.
A couple of my fondest memories with Rick was at my son's bachelor party on Kelly's Island 15 years ago. We hit a few establishments and knowing how Rick liked to dance.
I was not surprised to see him out on the dance floor before the night was over.
Rick spoke of his kids and grandkids often and always was asking how my family was doing.
We would periodically take our grandkids to the VFW annual kids Christmas party.
That was a special time of year for Rick as he made Christmas candy and always made sure I got a bottle of his homemade Kahlua.
Rick was a very respected realtor amongst his peers and from what I saw was always willing to help a newbie.
He was a gentleman and I will miss his sense of humor and his friendship but
I have solace that Rick is in a better place, not suffering and probably dancing somewhere.

Rick , you will be missed by the " Caruso Family beyond reproach especially at The "Caruso Family " get togethers .,I will miss your Happy Sence of Humor and shareing a glass of wine with you! Grace will miss her dancing partner & the Howard Hanna Recipe Calender you give to us every Christmas. So sorry for your loss. Among many memories I have, I will always remember the many LONG (hours!) Monopoly games we played as kids at his house on Columbia and he NEVER lost. No wonder he went into real estate. Our sympathies to the entire family. God bless. Debbie and Ed Douttiel.
